Decide how much you want to spend. Factor in travel, accommodation, activities, meals, and extras like spa treatments, excursions etc.
Timing
Will you leave right after the wedding or wait a few weeks/months? Will you have a “mini-moon” immediately after, then a bigger trip later?
Duration
How much time can you realistically take off work? Factor in travel time so you don’t spend half the trip in airports.
Destination style
Do you both want relaxation (beach, spa, luxury resort), adventure (hiking, safaris, road trips), cultural immersion (historic cities, food, art), or a mix?
Accommodation
Do you want a private villa, boutique hotel, or luxury resort? Do you want all inclusive or self catered?
